The story is set in modern-day Tokyo and a lunar base from long ago. Sakaguchi Arisu, a high school student with the mysterious ability to communicate with plants, one day realizes that she and her classmates are having the same "dream of a past life." In the dream, they are seven friends who once lived on a lunar base as alien scientists and watched over Earth from afar. Meanwhile, Kobayashi Rin, an elementary school student who lives next door to Arisu, awakens her past-life personality after an accident.
