Tsunku has been at the forefront of his era as the vocalist of the rock band Sharam Q and as the producer of Morning Musume. While racing through his hectic days, he found happiness after meeting his beloved wife, Kanako, and having three children with her. However, in 2014, Tsunku was struck by laryngeal cancer. Then came the decision to undergo a total laryngectomy—the complete removal of his vocal cords—in order to survive. What followed was yet another struggle as Tsunku battled through the aftermath of surgery. His weight continued to drop, his willpower faded, and he found himself wanting to escape from the reality confronting him....
