Back then, Lin Zai was always the one looking for a chance to escape from A Leh, but the more time they spent together, the deeper and stronger their bond became. Episode 12 really showed just how far their relationship has come.When A Leh was badly hurt, this was the perfect opportunity for Lin Zai to finally escape. The old Lin Zai probably would have taken that chance without thinking twice, but instead, he stayed. He carried A Leh on his back and even sucked the poison from his neck to try to save him. If this isn’t love, then what is?And can we talk about that NC scene? I was NOT expecting them to go that far! It was so hot, intense and passionate, and you could really feel how much their relationship had changed. After everything they have been through together, all that built up tension finally exploded. I was completely caught off guard!We have just finished Episode 12, which means we are officially halfway through the series, and I already don’t want it to end! This series is seriously so good. I wish one day we could get a BL with the standard 40 episode length that we often see in Chinese dramas. Just imagine how much more character development, romance and storytelling we could get.It also makes me wonder about the potential of Chinese BL if censorship restrictions were different. With the quality of the acting, storytelling, cinematography and production we are already seeing, China could become an even bigger force in the BL industry.We are only halfway through and I’m already too attached to A Leh and Lin Zai. I’m not ready to say goodbye to them!
