Before WWII, a civil war broke out in 1940s China. With the continued conflicts between the Nationalist Party and Communist Party, May Jane's husband was forced to serve the Communist Army. After the death of her father, May Jane suddenly fell to be a refugee and lived on dependence of a church invested by a foreign consulate. During the war, the consulate had to evacuate all women and children. May Jane struggled a lot and finally managed to get on the ship of the consulate. But she did not bring any documents proving her identity, so she was held up. Will May Jane therefore face another nightmare? Edit Translation
