While he seems ordinary at first glance, Enokizu Iwao is actually a violent murderer running from police. Leaving behind his wife, he hides out with Enokizo Kazuko, a brothel owner who desperately loves him but does not know he is a killer. Iwao does not understand his urge to kill, but he knows that his terrible deeds have burdened both his wife and his father and fears his relationship with Kazuko cannot last.
