For about a month now, 12.12: The Day has shown non-stop success at the domestic box office.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie ticket sales, 12.12: The Day pulled in 188,751 viewers on December 13, bringing the total number of moviegoers to 7,551,382.

Ranking at the top of the box office, it has retained its spot for 22 consecutive days since its release on November 22.

Despite various new releases, the significant gap in audience numbers between this movie and the one ranking second highlights the impact of this production.

Even as it enters its fourth week, drawing close to 200,000 viewers on weekdays, the film's momentum shows no sign of waning. The K-movie is on track to surpass 8 million viewers in the fourth weekend and is aiming for the milestone of 10 million by the end of the year.

12.12: The Day depicts the nine intense hours of the emergency to prevent the rebellion of the new military regime that occurred in Seoul on December 12, 1979.
