Yaa minna!

Today, I'm going to talk you about an unexpectedly good nighttime J-Drama:

How did I end up watching it?

Though you might find the reason quite absurd, I first heard about it when I learned that one of my favorite Kpop groups, U-KISS, were to sing the ending song of the drama. Yes, I know, and like I said: absurd

But! Even if I was a bit biased about that fact, I still looked up at the synopsis and thought: 'Hmm, I like the story, I'll give it a try.'  Because, yes I don't watch a drama out of biased reasons only :p
Besides, at that time, I was in a mood where I wanted to watch something that I wouldn't usually watch, and this drama was exactly what I was looking for.

I consider hearing my favorite group singing as a bonus.

When I watched the first ep, I was like: "Pfff, boring, don't think I'll watch the second episode."  Well, I obviously did since I'm writing about it. There was something about it that kept me watching...

The Story up to ep. 4 *No Spoilers*

Furukawa Michiru (Toda Erika) works as a book clerk in her hometown, has a nice boyfriend and couldn't be more happy. But is she?  Well actually she's bored and she's even having an affair with a married man that works in Tokyo.

One day, she feigns a toothache to see her lover off at the airport. At the same time, her coworkers ask her to buy lottery tickets. She buys the tickets and when her lover is about to get on the plane, she suddenly decides to go to Tokyo with him...

tsk tsk... Why are you doing this? You know you'll be in trouble if you do this... Oh well, just saying

And this is where everything starts to get out of control. She's making up stories after stories to explain why she's in Tokyo. Also, she decides to check the lottery results since she still has the tickets she bought before leaving for Tokyo. And unexpectedly, one of the tickets she bought is a winner. First prize :¥200 million.

I think I'd be surprised too if I were to win ¥200 million.

You must think: "Wait... she bought the tickets for her coworkers, how come she's the one who gets the money? o.O"  Well, it's simple: without noticing it she got an extra ticket and decides to keep the money. With her newly acquired money, she buys trivial stuff like a new cellphone. She's even getting a place to live.

But unfortunately for her, one day, she receives an unexpected visitor at her place...
A visit that will change everything...

Who are you, sir?

Why watch it?

Mainly because for once the main girl isn't a perfect girl. I mean, she cheats on her boyfriend! I don't see that happening in a lot of dramas.

Also even if at first, you're like me and think: "Dear, this is boring," try to force yourself a little. The first episodes are setting things up, slowly, yes, but really well. There's more than you think about that drama. Everything happens for a reason.

The more episodes you watch the more intense it gets. When I'm watching an episode, I can go from really happy to being worried in a second. And then later, I can be really like: OMG!! What the h*** is going on here?!? OO It will make you bite your nails on some occasions as well.

Gahhhh!! I wanna know what's going to happen!!

Err, anyways ^^' I hope I convinced you to at least give it a try :x  If not, well it'll just mean that I am very bad at convincing people…

And since I talked about it, I feel that I should at least link you to the song that made me want to watch the drama :D
