Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Actor Kim Ba Da will be joining the soon-to-air KBS K-drama Heartbeat.
On June 26, it was revealed that Kim Ba Da will be added to the cast of the KBS romantic fantasy K-drama Heartbeat.
Heartbeat will be led by 2 PM's Ok Taec Yeon, Won Ji An, Yoon So Hee, Park Kang Hyun, Go Gyu Pil, and Yoon Byung Hee.
It will tell the romance of a half human half vampire man and a woman who started living together.
Kim Ba Da will play the role of Shin Dae Gam. He is a vampire hunter who knows the identity of Ok Taec Yeon's character named Sun Woo Hyeol. He will follow him till the end. He is determined to treat heart diseases and genetic diseases that have been passed down from generation to generation. He is a persistent character who will do anything for his goal.
The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of directors Lee Hyun Suk (The King's Affection) and Lee Min Soo (The Scarlet Letter).
Heartbeat will premiere later today at 9:45 PM KST. The K-Drama will be both available on KBS and the OTT platform, Wavve.
Kim Ba Da is known for being a musical actor. He started his career in television back in 2020. He was part of the K-drama Tell Me What You Saw.
The actor also starred in the K-dramas Private Lives, Love Scene Number, The Sound of Magic, and more.
Last year, he made a special appearance in the KBS K-drama The Law Cafe led by Lee Seung Gi, Lee Se Young, Oh Dong Min, Kim Nam Hee, Kim Seul Gi, and Ahn Dong Goo.
Heartbeat will be the first project of Kim Ba Da for 2023.
