Netflix original K-drama "Can This Love Be Translated?" confirms its official cast!
Actress Kim Min Jung is joining the historical romance K-drama Check in Hanyang.
On June 7, an exclusive report from XSportsNews revealed that Kim Min Jung will return to the K-drama scene with the upcoming Channel A K-drama Check in Hanyang.
This will be the first official K-drama project of Kim Min Jung after three years. She last starred in the 2021 K-drama The Devil Judge with Ji Sung, Park Jin Young, Park Gyu Young, Jeon Chae Eun, and Kim Jae Kyung.
Last year, she also made a special cameo appearance in the Netflix original series Daily Dose of Sunshine led by Park Bo Young, Yeon Woo Jin, Jang Dong Yoon, and Lee Jung Eun.
Kim Min Jung is known for being part of the K-dramas Mr. Sunshine, Man to Man, Gap Dong, Fashion 70's, Save the Last Dance for Me, Jang Nok Soo, and more.
Check in Hanyang is a romance comedy set in the Joseon Dynasty era. It will tell the stories of three men and one woman who will enter Yongcheonru, the largest guest house in Joseon.
Bae In Hyuk, Kim Ji Eun, Jung Gun Joo, DKZ's Park Jae Chan, and Han Jae Suk will lead the upcoming K-drama.
Kim Min Jung will work closely with Kim Ji Eun's character Hong Deok Soo. She will be a character that will get entangled with the female lead Hong Deok Soo.
Check in Hanyang will be the latest work of director Myung Hyun Woo (My Man Is Cupid and Miracle) and screenwriter Park Hyun Jin (Love and Leashes and Like for Likes).
The upcoming K-drama will premiere in the fourth quarter of the year. It will exclusively air on Channel A and will have a total of 16 episodes.
