On the morning of June 7th, the production presentation for the Netflix series Bloodhounds (directed by Kim Joo Hwan) took place at a venue in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Actors Woo Do Hwan, Lee Sang Yi, Park Sung Woong, and director Kim Joo Hwan attended the event and shared various stories about the production.

Bloodhounds is a Netflix series about two young men entangled in the world of loan sharks, where money takes precedence over human life as they fight against a powerful evil force.

Woo Do Hwan and Lee Sang Yi create fantastic chemistry as Kim Geon Woo, a promising young boxer with a strong sense of justice, and Hong Woo Jin, his close friend. Park Sung Woong adds weight to the drama as Kim Myung Gil, the ruthless leader of an illegal loan shark company.

Director Kim Joo Hwan, who adapted the famous webtoon into the series, stated, "I enjoyed the original work by the author. I thought that by incorporating the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic and adding action, many people could relate to the pain portrayed in the story."

Woo Do Hwan takes on the role of Kim Geon Woo, the promising young boxer, stating, "I wanted to challenge the action scenes that require me to do boxing from start to finish. I was drawn to experiencing the satisfaction of seeing it come to life on screen. I was also attracted to the character of a kind-hearted boxer with a strong heart."

Lee Sang Yi portrays Hong Woo Jin, Kim Geon Woo's close friend, and mentions, "I had watched the director's previous work and felt a good vibe from the bromance aspect. I was drawn to the bromance story and wanted to do action."

Park Sung Woong takes on the role of Kim Myung Gil, the head of the loan shark company. He shared, "Originally, I was offered a good-guy role, but when I read the script and started acting, I found myself more attracted to the character of Myung Gil. I told them I would do it if it's Kim Myung Gil, and they immediately responded with "Thank you.'"

Meanwhile, Bloodhounds will be available on Netflix on the 9th.
