Top actor Lee Sun Kyun has passed away.

On December 27, the police and fire authorities revealed that actor Lee Sun Kyun was found unconscious in a vehicle near Waryong Park in Seoul at 10:30 AM KST. According to reports, the police went to the location after receiving a phone call from a woman that her husband wrote a note and left their house.
The police found and identified the actor and was taken to a nearby hospital but he eventually died. They also revealed that they had found lit charcoal briquettes in the car suggesting that Lee Sun Kyun had chosen an extreme choice and the death was caused by suicide.
Actor Lee Sun Kyun passed away at the age of 48.
Back in October, the public was shocked by the reports of Lee Sun Kyun being accused of using illegal drugs. He was reportedly exposed by a woman who is the head of an entertainment establishment in Gangnam.
Because of this, Lee Sun Kyun has been under police investigation for using illegal drugs until recently.
Lee Sun Kyun tested negative on different tests from the National Forensic Service. The actor also denied the allegations and stated, "I thought it was a sleeping pill. I didn't know it was drugs." The actor also stated that the only evidence related to his drug administration was the statement of the head of the entertainment establishment in Gangnam. He asked for the woman to have a lie-detector investigation to examine her credibility.
The last project that Lee Sun Kyun starred in was the hit film Sleep with Jung Yu Mi. It was released last September of this year.
Lee Sun Kyun was supposed to lead the upcoming movie The Land of Happiness.
