Cha Joo Young will join the upcoming KBS weekend K-drama "The Real Deal Has Come!"

According to media outlet YTN News, Cha Joo Young's next project will be the KBS weekend series "The Real Deal Has Come."

A representative of the actress confirmed the reports and stated that Cha Joo Young will officially join the upcoming K-drama. 

"The Real Deal Has Come" is a family K-drama that will revolve around a single mother and a single man who will enter into a false contract that will eventually teach them about romance, pregnancy, childbirth, and childrearing. 

The upcoming k-drama will be led by Baek Jin Hee, Ahn Jae Hyun, Kim Sa Kwon, Cha Hwa Yun, and Choi Dae Chul

Cha Joo Young will portray the role of Jang Se Jin, the childhood frine of Ahn Jae Hyun's character named Gong Tae Seong. She is also a chief secretary of a company.

"The Real Deal Has Come" will premiere in the first half of 2023. It will have a total of 50 episodes. 

Cha Joo Young recently starred in the Netflix original K-drama "The Glory Season 1" with Song Hye Kyo, Lee Do Hyun, Im Ji Yeon, Yeom Hye Ran, Park Sung Hoon, and Jung Sung Il

"The Real Deal Has Come" will be Cha Joo Young's comeback to KBS weekend K-dramas after seven years. She last appeared in a KBS weekend series in 2016. She was part of the K-drama "The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop." 

Cha Joo Young made her acting debut in 2016. Since then, she has starred in a supporting role in several K-dramas such as "Cheese in the Trap," "Jugglers," "Wok of Love," "The Spies Who Loved Me," "Again My Life," "Alice, the Final Weapon," and more.
