In the Disney+ original series Moving, directed by Park In Je and Park Yoon Seo, Cha Tae Hyun adds vitality to the character Jeon Gye Do, a new superhuman introduced in the drama who does not exist in the webtoon. Jeon Gye Do possesses the power to use and manipulate electricity.

During his youth, Gye Do exploited his powers to become a beloved superhero known as Lightning Man, gaining immense popularity through his heroic exploits. However, as time went on, he started blaming himself for inadvertently causing more harm than good with his extraordinary abilities. A chain of events led Gye Do to reflect on his life choices and ultimately step away from being Lightning Man.

During a time when his internal conflict deepens due to his mother's absence, he coincidentally obtains a new job as a city bus driver and starts a new life.

As revealed in the released stills, Cha Tae Hyun perfectly portrays the various facets of his character, from Jeon Gye Do's complex emotions to becoming a city bus driver from Lightning Man.

Reflecting on his decision to join the cast of Moving, Cha Tae Hyun expressed, "It was a highly-anticipated project and a great opportunity". He went on to introduce Jeon Gye Do as a relatable character, remarking, "He is a character who can be considered the most commonly seen, someone who finds himself living a passive life where he cannot do what he wants [harboring aspirations and desires]. He can evoke a lot of empathy from young people these days in a different way".Furthermore, in his unwavering commitment to portraying the role of bus driver Jeon Gye Do convincingly, Cha Tae Hyun went the extra mile and obtained an actual Class 1 driver's license. Director Park Yoon Seo praised the actor, saying he was the "most perfect casting choice" and emphasized the dedication put forth by the actor, stating, "He practiced a lot, and even performed dangerous bus action sequences himself". This realistic approach to action scenes adds exhilaration, heightening expectations for Cha Tae Hyun's exceptional performance in the upcoming series.

Moving tells the story of children with supernatural abilities and their parents protecting them from being exploited by the world.

The series is set to premiere on Disney+ on August 9, with a simultaneous release of seven episodes worldwide, followed by a weekly release of two episodes.
