Character Stills from "The Matchmakers", Featuring Rowoon, Unveiled

In KBS 2TV's upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama The Matchmakers, the idol-turned-actor Rowoon takes on the role of Shim Jung Woo, Joseon's angriest man. Anticipation is high for his upcoming performance, as he plays a character different from his previous works, promising comedic prowess.

In relation to this, The Matchmakers unveiled stills that capture the essential aspects of the character Shim Jung Woo. 

In one of the stills, Shim Jung Woo wears a civil service uniform. He demonstrates his outstanding intellect and wit as he outperforms other scholars in the examination. He is an ambitious man confidently taking the front seat among the students after being recognized as a top-tier student.

In another still, we see him as a groom in dazzling wedding attire, but his discomfort is evident as he maintains a serious face that sharply contrasts with his visuals. The reason behind the sudden anger of Shim Jung Woo, who was the youngest person to pass the Civil Service Exam, raises curiosity. Fans also look forward to how the actor will portray the complex psychological changes of his character. 

The production team praised Rowoon by saying, "Rowoon is an actor unafraid of challenges when it comes to new acting transformations", and they urged viewers to look forward to the premiere of The Matchmakers.
