EXO's Suho plays a crown prince in the upcoming historical drama.
On January 31, the production team of MBN's upcoming weekend miniseries The Crown Prince Has Disappeared unveiled the first teaser.
The Crown Prince Has Disappeared tells the story of Crown Prince Yi Gun (Suho) getting kidnapped by Choi Myung Yoon (Hong Ye Ji), who plans to marry him.
The teaser commences with a voiceover asking, "What kind of person is the crown prince? How does he look? What if he is too good-looking?"
Then, a voiceover says, "Myung Yoon, you have been chosen as Crown Princess."
However, the atmosphere quickly turns tense when someone says, "The crown prince, who was in the eastern palace, has disappeared without a trace," hinting that a crisis has taken place.
Queen Min Soo Ryun (Myung Se Bin) expresses concern, asking, "Have they found the crown prince?".
Royal Advisor Choi Sang Rok (Kim Joo Heon) questions, "Is it certain that he is the crown prince?" piquing curiosity about the complicated situation.
A shaman says, "I have no choice this time," while burning talismans over the bride and groom dolls. Lee Gen, dressed in traditional wedding attire, sleeps with a cloth over his eyes and mouth tied.
Then, Min Soo Ryun says, "The crown prince is a sinner who saw things he should not have seen and knew things he should not know."
Prince Do Sung, tears streaming down his face, pulls out a sword, and says, "My brother would never do such a thing. Shouldn't we find him?"
The teaser concludes with Lee Gon expressing his determination, "I will definitely return."
