Park Hae Soo in talks to reunite with Jeon Do Yeon in a new thriller mystery K-drama
Highlight's Yoon Doo Joon and Girls Day's Lee Hye Ri will reportedly work together in the upcoming MBC drama "Il Dang Baek Butler (literal title).”
On March 17th several media outlets reported that Yoon Doo Joon and Lee Hye Ri were selected to lead the upcoming MBC drama "Ildangbaek Butler.”
Yoon Doo Joon's agency Around Us Entertainment responded to the reports and shared that it is true that the idol-actor received the offer and he is still reviewing it. Meanwhile, Lee Hye Ri's agency Creative Group ING stated that she is positively considering the casting offer.
"Il Dang Baek Butler" will tell the story of Kim Butler, a man who asks for 100 won per errand, and Baek Dong Ju, a funeral director who grants the wishes of the dead. She also owns a daily errand company named Il Dang Baek.
Yoon Doo Joon got the offer to play the role of Butler Kim. He is the only employee at Il Dang Baek. Due to a customer's request, he meets Baek Dong Ju. After knowing her secret, he becomes involved in the life of Baek Dong Joo.
Lee Hye Ri will reportedly play the role of Baek Dong Joo, the funeral director of Il Dang Baek. After becoming a funeral director, Baek Dong Joo will get to know her unusual ability which is she can communicate with dead people. When she touches the hand of the dead, the person will temporarily regain consciousness and talk to her. She grants the wishes of the dead.

Before Yoon Doo Joon stars in any drama this year, he will first join the comeback promotions of his idol group Highlight. The group is set to release the album "DAYDREAM" on March 21. The idol-actor is also set to join the upcoming drama "Goo Pil Soo Is Not There" with Kwak Do Won.
Meanwhile, if Lee Hye Ri confirms her casting for "Il Dang Baek Butler," this will be her first project for 2022. She last starred in the KBS drama "Moonshine" with Yoo Seung Ho.
