Hong Seung Bum will be the new addition to the upcoming tvN K-drama "The High Priest Rembrary."
On January 6th, Hong Seung Bum's agency Salt Entertainment confirmed that the actor will join the fantasy k-drama. He will be playing the role of Choi Jung Seo, the leader and member of the idol group named Wild Animal.
Salt Entertainment also asked viewers for interest and support as Hong Seung Bum will greet everyone with yet another character.
"The High Priest Rembrary" will be the comeback series of Hong Seung Bum. He last starred in the 2020 K-drama "Kkondae Intern" with Park Hae Jin, Kim Eung Soo, Han Ji Eun, Park Ki Woong, Park Ah In, and Noh Jong Hyun.
Hong Seung Beom made his acting debut in 2017 through the K-drama "Judge vs. Judge." Since then, he has appeared in several K-dramas in a supporting role such as "Come and Hug Me," "My Woofy Poofy Love," "Between Friendship and Love 3," and "My Strange Hero."
The actor was last seen in the 2021 film "Show Me the Ghost" with Han Seung Yeon, Kim Hyun Mok, Im Chae Young, and Jeong Han Seol.
"The High Priest Rembrary" will tell the story of a world minister called Rembrary who became an unpopular idol overnight. The K-drama will be based on the web novel of the same name.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Park So Yeon and screenwriter Lee Cheon Geum. The series will be produced by Studio Dragon and Pita Fat Studio High Ground.
Kim Min Gue, Go Bo Gyeol, Lee Jang Woo, Ye Ji Won, Tak Jae Hoon, Park Sang Nam, and more will lead the story.
Hong Seung Bum will portray the character named Choi Jung Seo. He is the leader and the main dancer of the unpopular boy group called Wild Animal. He is a person who works hard the most to boost the group. He will showcase a positive attitude and adult charm in the series.
"The High Priest Rembrary" will premiere in the first half of the year. Currently, the production team is working hard on the filming of the upcoming K-drama.
