Kim Jung Young confirmed to appear in "The Midnight Romance in Hagwon"
Before the year ends, Hwang Hee will be starring in a new KBS K-drama!
Industry insiders reported on October 13 that Hwang Hee will join hands with Park Ji Hoon in the upcoming webtoon-based K-drama Fantasy Sonata.
Fantasy Sonata will tell the story of a King with two opposite personalities and an assassin girl who wants him dead but falls in love with him. The K-drama will base its story on the webtoon Love Song for Illusion created by Vanziun.
The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of director Lee Jung Sub (Dali and the Cocky Prince, Angel's Last Mission: Love, and Healer) and writer Yoon Kyung Ah (Homemade Love Story and Master of Study).
Hwang Hee will play the role of Sa Jo Yong, known as Sa Jo Hyun's older brother. He is liked by everyone because of his sweet and warm personality. But there will be a twist about him because of his jealousy towards Sa Jo Hyun and twisted desires.
The actor will be working with other main leads Park Ji Hoon, Hong Ye Ji, Ji Woo, Kim Dong Won, and Shin Gi Hwan.
Fantasy Sonata is expected to premiere at the end of the year. It will have a total of 16 episodes and it will air every Monday and Tuesday.
This year, Hwang Hee starred in the tvN K-drama Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 and worked closely with Lee Dong Wook, Kim So Yeon, Kim Bum, Ryu Kyung Soo, and Kim Yong Ji.
Hwang Hee is known for being part of the K-dramas Today's Webtoon, Moebius: The Veil, Dali and the Cocky Prince, The Veil, Tale of the Nine-Tailed, Arthdal Chronicles Part 1: The Children of Prophecy, Tomorrow With You, and more.
