The Tving original series The Queen 'Woo' (directed by Jeong Se Gyo and written by Lee Byung Hak) is an action historical drama that depicts Queen Woo, who becomes a target of five tribes seeking power after the sudden death of the king, as she struggles to establish a new king within 24 hours.

Jeon Jong Seo, Kim Mu Yeol, Ji Chang Wook, Jung Yoo Mi, Lee Soo Hyuk, and Park Ji Hwan will join the cast. Jeon Jong Seo will portray Queen Woo Hee, a Goguryeo queen born into a low-status family but possesses beauty and intelligence. She faces a crisis threatening her position and household when her husband, King Go Nam Mu, is in danger. The synergy between the character of Woo Hee and Jeon Jong Seo's performance is highly anticipated.

Kim Mu Yeol will play Eulpa So, a military general and strategist of Goguryeo who rises to the position of Generalissimo. Despite being from a local family with a weak lineage, Eulpa So possesses exceptional abilities. While carrying out national affairs under the trust of King Go Nam Mu, he harbors unresolved desires. Kim Mu Yeol's portrayal of the complex inner conflict of Eulpaso, torn between loyalty to the king and ambition for power, garners attention.

Ji Chang Wook will take on the role of King Go Nam Mu, the husband of Queen Woo Hee and the king of Goguryeo, known for his outstanding military tactics that defeated 30,000 soldiers of the Han Empire with an army of 5,000. He is a perfect king, possessing the dignity of a military leader and benevolence, but his absence brings turmoil to the palace. Ji Chang Wook's performance is awaited as he deeply portrays the fate of King Go Nam Mu, who becomes a spark of conflict in the revered city.

Jung Yoo Mi will transform into Woo Soon, the older sister of Woo Hee. Despite being from the northern region, which has produced royal queens for generations, Woo Soon loses the position of queen to her sister Woo Hee with a single choice. She becomes her sister's maid and enters the palace to reclaim her destiny. The transformation of Jung Yoo Mi, who will complete the struggles of Woo Soon in her quest to regain the stolen position of queen, adds to the anticipation.

Lee Soo Hyuk will portray crown prince Go Bal Gi, a contender for the Goguryeo throne. Go Bal Gi, who has malicious and treacherous tendencies, begins to reveal his suppressed desires when an opportunity to claim the throne arises. The new face of Lee Soo Hyuk, who will realistically embody the character of Go Bal Gi, filled with hot greed beneath his cold exterior, draws attention.

Park Ji Hwan will bring life to the character of Mu Gol, the leader of the king's direct troops called Wang Dang, to life. Mu Gol, a fearless warrior who handles any weapon with skill, is the commander who protects King Go Nam Mu with loyalty forged through long wars. Park Ji Hwan's portrayal of the confident Mu Gol on a formidable tank at lightning speed promises to enhance the excitement with spectacular action scenes.

The attention is focused on The Queen 'Woo,' which builds a solid worldview based on the record of Queen Woo, who maintained her power through the rare Goguryeo marriage custom of remarrying the husband's younger brother after his death.

The Queen 'Woo' is set to be released on Tving in 2024.
