The Disney+ original series The Worst of Evil dropped its main poster and trailer.
The poster features police officer Park Joon Mo (Ji Chang Wook) and the boss of Gangnam Union, Jung Ki Chul (Wi Ha Joon).
Joon Mo is shown covered in mud, looking into the distance as if he has been in a fierce fight. Ki Chul's fierce gaze tells that he will do anything to satisfy his thirst for success. The trailer commences by showing Joon Mo chasing someone relentlessly, and a voice introduces him as "a guy who won't let go once he bites". He gets an offer for a dangerous mission in Seoul, a rare opportunity he decides to seize.
To complete his mission, he gains the trust of the Gangnam Union boss, Jung Ki Chul, and joins his gang. He successfully penetrates the drug cartel and comes close to Ki Chul, assuring that he will not fail him. The fast-spinning kicks, power-packed punches, and chaotic gang fights give a glimpse of what the K-drama has in store for the viewers.
The plot takes a twist when Yoo Eui Jung (Im Se Mi), Park Joon Mo's wife and an elite officer, comes into the scene, determined to solve the case.
One of the scenes shows Joon Mo holding a gun and Jung Ki Chul commanding him to shoot. Joon Mo grapples with an internal dilemma, as he has to uphold his conscience as a police officer but also firmly establish a trustful relationship with Ki Chul to avoid doubt.
As the trailer reaches its climax, Joon Mo and Ki Chul are seen locked in an intense confrontation, with Ki Chul asking, "Who are you?".
The Worst of Evil releases on September 27th on Disney+ and Hulu. Check out the main trailer below.
