Upcoming tvN drama "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" has resumed filming after the March accident.

On May 11th,  the production team of "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" shared to news outlet Newsis that the drama already resumed filming about a month after the bus accident. The team shared that they started shooting again last week. They also revealed that the series was supposed to air this July but they are adjusting the schedule for the premiere due to the increase in days of filming. 

On March 31st, the filming team of "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" got into a huge accident. The bus that they were riding was crushed by a dump truck. The accident happened in Paju, Gyeonggi Province. Because of this accident, a male producer in his 30s died, three other staff got severely injured, and seven others also were hurt. 

Since the accident, main leads Kim Min Jae and Kim Hyang Gi actively asked help for with blood donations on their personal accounts. Currently, the staff is now recovering from hospital treatment. The production company will also hold psychological counseling and treatment for staff at risk of post-traumatic stress disorder together with Studio Dragon who's in charge of planning.

"Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" will revolve around Yoo Se Poong, a famous member of the parliament and a great psychiatrist in the Joseon era who got ousted after getting involved in an incident that was plotted by the royal family. The series will base its story on the novel of the same name that achieved the award for excellence in the 2016 Korea Story Contest. 

Kim Min Jae will play the role of Yoo Se Poong, the skillful psychiatrist in the Joseon era. Kim Hyang Gi on the other hand will play the role of Seo Eun Woo, a widow that became a psychiatrist. 

Other casts of the drama include Kim Sang Kyung, Jung Won Chang, and Jeon Guk Hyang

"Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" will be the work of writer Lee Bom.
