Kim Sae Ron is officially returning to the industry.
On November 13, industry insiders revealed that Kim Sae Ron will be leading the upcoming film Guitar Man alongside the CEO of the pharmaceutical company Seongwon Pharmaceutical.
The movie was solely produced by CEO Lee Sun Jung. According to reports, he also wrote, composed, and directed the OSTs for the upcoming film.
This will be the official comeback work of Kim Sae Ron after two years. In 2022, Kim Sae Ron was convicted of drunk driving and was fined 20 million Korean won (approximately $14,500). The actress stopped all her professional activities after this incident.
Kim Sae Ron last appeared in the hit 2021 series The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim with Nam Da Reum, Yoo Sun Ho, Moon Sung Geun, Yoon Seok Hwa, and Bae Hae Seon.
The actress participated in the filming of the Netflix original K-drama Bloodhounds which was released in 2023. Because of her controversy, most of her scenes were edited out.

The movie was filmed in April of this year and is scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2025.
