Jung Yi Rang to work alongside Super Junior's Choi Si Won and Jung In Sun in "DNA Lovers"
Kim So Hyun will reportedly be the female lead of the upcoming drama "Is It Fate?"
On August 8th several industry insiders reported that Kim So Hyun has been cast on the upcoming webtoon-based romantic comedy drama titled "Is It Fate?" (literal translation).
If ever Kim So Hyun confirms her casting, this will be her first acting project for 2022.
"Is It Fate?" will base its story on the webtoon of the same name written by Nam Ji Eun and illustrated by Kim In Ho. It will tell the story of a woman who encounters her first love once again after ten years.
The upcoming series will be directed by Song Hyun Wook, the man behind the masterpieces "The King's Affection," "Graceful Friends," "The Beauty Inside," "Another Miss Oh," "Marriage, Not Dating," and more.
Kim So Hyun got the offer to portray the character named Hong Joo. She became skeptical about love after breaking up with her first love. Then one day, she will meet him again.
"Is It Fate?" will reportedly be an eight-episode series. The filming will begin in October. The Broadcast network and other details have not yet been decided.
Kim So Hyun was last seen in the 2021 dramas "River Where the Moon Rises" and "Love Alarm 2."
If the actress confirms her casting for "Is It Fate?" this will be her follow-up drama after her short break for the year.
