Kim Soo Hyun will reportedly lead another drama written by Park Ji Eun.

On April 7th it was reported that Kim Soo Hyun received the offer to be the main lead of the new drama by screenwriter Park Ji Eun who's known for penning the hit projects "Crash Landing on You," "The Legend of the Blue Sea," "Swing Kids," "My Love from the Star," and more. 

It was reported yesterday as well that IU has been picked as the female lead. The idol actress clarified the reports through her agency and shared that IU politely declined the casting offer. 

If Kim Soo Hyun confirms his casting news, he will be the main lead in the upcoming "Queen of Tears." This will possibly be the third project of Kim Soo Hyun and Park Ji Eun together. The two have worked together in the dramas "My Love from the Star" and "The Producers."

There are no official details revealed yet about "Queen of Tears" aside from the main leads' casting.

If Kim Soo Hyun accepts the offer, this will be his first project for the year. The top actor last starred in the 2021 Coupang Play drama "One Ordinary Day" with Cha Seung Won, Lee Seol, Kim Shin Rok, Kim Hong Pa, and Kim Sung Gyu

Kim Soo Hyun is known for being the main lead in the hit dramas "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," "The Producers," "My Love from the Star," "Moon Embracing the Sun," "Dream High," and more. 

The actor made his acting debut in 2007. After starring in "Dream High," his career continued to rise which made him who he is today. Kim Soo Hyun is now one of the top actors in South Korea and also one of the highest-paid actors in the country.
