The veteran actor Koo Kyo Hwan gets a lead role in the upcoming sci-fi movie Finding the King.
Kyo Hwan, who debuted in 2009 with the movie Castaway on the Moon, has numerous movies and K-dramas to his credit such as D.P., Escape from Mogadishu, and Extraordinary Attorney Woo, among others. 
He will also be seen in the upcoming action thriller Kill Bok Soon as Han Hee Sung. He has also been a screenwriter, director and producer for numerous other cinematic works.
Koo Kyo Hwan now takes up the role of military surgeon Do Jin in Finding the King.
Set in 1980, Finding the King is a movie about Do Jin - a military surgeon assigned to a village in the demilitarized zone which is greeted by some unidentified alien creatures.
Apart from Koo Kyo Hwan, the movie also casts Yoo Jae Myung - a resident of the village with a great sense of justice and a pillar of support for the people, and Seo Hyun from the girl group 'Girls' Generation' as Jung Ae, the only nurse at the health centre in the village.
Rookie actress Park Ye Rin, who, despite her young age, delivered splendid performances in Space Sweepers (as Dorothy), The King of the Desert, School 2021, Jirisan, etc., will take up the role of Doek Jin.
Park Myung Hoon will play Gwan Woo, a company commander of the 66th Infantry Regiment. And Yoo Seong Joo will be seen in the role of Colonel Lee Seo Yeol, the boss of Do Jin.
Finding the King is directed by Won Sin Yun, whose other famous works include Rampant, The Battle: Roar to Victory, Memoir of a Murderer The Suspect, etc.
