On September 24, TVING's original series Dong Jae, the Good or the Bastard revealed its first stills, heightening anticipation for the dramatic survival story of prosecutor Seo Dong Jae, who remains as "good or bastard" as ever.
The upcoming TVING original series Dong Jae, the Good or the Bastard tells the story of prosecutor Seo Dong Jae, who wants to move on from his dark past as a sponsor prosecutor and build a reputation in the present. The series promises exciting tension as Seo Dong Jae engages in a relentless mud-slinging battle with Nam Wan Seong (Park Sung Woong), the CEO of Lee Hong Construction, who is determined to bring up past mistakes Dong Jae would rather forget.
Seo Dong Jae is an infuriating yet irresistibly likable character who garnered much love throughout the two seasons of Stranger. Having survived countless crises with his sharp instincts and perception, Dong Jae is set to reboot his life. The newly released stills, showing Seo Dong Jae looking as stylish as ever yet still exuding the same pitiful charm, only amplify the anticipation for what's to come.
Lee Joon Hyuk expressed his thoughts on returning for the spin-off, saying, "The vitality of the character Seo Dong Jae is truly special. I never imagined I'd return to this role, but I've given it my all once again. He is a character with a unique charm, so the more I explored him, the more fun I had."
Dong Jae, the Good or the Bastard will be released on October 10. The K-drama will be available to stream on Paramount+.
