Actor Lee Jun Young dishes on his experience playing the son of a chaebol family Moon Cha Min in Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale.
Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale follows Shim Jae Rim (Pyo Ye Jin), a 21st-century Cinderella who dreams of a wealthy and good-looking Prince Charming to escape her bleak reality, and Moon Cha Min (Lee Jun Young), an arrogant son of a chaebol family.
The actor revealed he put efforts into his styling to get the luxury look of the eighth-generation chaebol Moon Cha Min. He stated, "I usually leave the styling to the staff, but this time I attended meetings and gave opinions to complete Cha Min's look in detail. I also went on a diet to look sharp as an eighth-generation chaebol."
Lee Jun Young also revealed, "The concept was a prince from a fairy tale," and added, "To be honest, I felt a bit embarrassed before putting on the suit, but once I did, it felt like combat uniform."
In the K-drama, Moon Cha Min never lets go of his cherished umbrella named Chairman Go. Talking about acting with an umbrella for the first time since his debut, Lee Jun Young shared, "At first, it was a hindrance to my movements, but over time, I bonded with Chairman Go and since I kept holding it, I felt empty without it."
He concluded, "I hope those expecting to see a new side of me and those who want to laugh when they're feeling down will enjoy watching the drama we've prepared."
