Seo Hyun Woo joins Sung Joon as one of the villains in the upcoming "The Fiery Priest Season 2"
Lee Kwang Soo and AOA's Kim Seol Hyun are set to reunite in the upcoming drama "The Murderer's Shopping List."
On November 26th, it has been revealed that Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Seol Hyun, and Jin Hee Kyung are selected as the main leads of the upcoming tvN series "The Murderer's Shopping List."
"The Murderer's Shopping List" will be based on the novel of the same name by Kang Ji Yong. The drama will be directed by Lee Eon Hee ("Missing" and "The Accidental Detective 2: In Action"). The script will be penned by Han Ji Wan ("The Ghost Detective" and "Wanted").
The upcoming tvN drama "The Murderer's Shopping List" is a comedy thriller about a neighborhood on the outskirts of Seoul. A mysterious body was found near an apartment and a supermarket receipt becomes the evidence to find the killer. With all the happenings, the supermarket will be involved as they hunt for the killer. Characters Ahn Dae Seong is the supermarket cashier and the son of the owner of the supermarket and Jung Myung Sook is the owner of the supermarket.
Lee Kwang Soo and Kim Seol Hyun will be reuniting through this drama. The two have already worked together through the variety program "Running Man." Lee Kwang Soo was a mainstay of the program and Kim Seol Hyun has guested several times on the show.
"The Murderer's Shopping List" is set to premiere on tvN in the first half of 2022.
Lee Kwang Soo will portray the role of Ahn Dae Seong. He is the supermarket's cashier. He is also the son of MS Mart CEO. He used to be a memorizing genius but has been failing the civil service exam for three years now. "The Murderer's Shopping List" will be the comeback drama of the actor. He last appeared in the 2018 series "Live." Lee Kwang Soo has been active in movies. He starred in the 2021 box office movie "Sinkhole." He will also be part of the films "The Pirates: Goblin Flag," "Happy New Year," and "Gwanghwamun Jealousy Fight."
Kim Seol Hyun will play the role of Do Ah Hee. She's a passionate policewoman in the Odong district. She's also the girlfriend of Ahn Dae Seong. After a mysterious murder happened near her apartment, she begin to hunt the killer herself. The idol actress didn't appear in any dramas this year. She also recently became active through her variety show appearance and personal Youtube channel. Kim Seol Hyun last starred in the 2020 tvN drama "Awaken" with Namgoong Min, Lee Chung Ah, Yoon Sun Woo, Yoon Gyung Ho, Kim Tae Woo, and more.
Jin Hee Kyung will play as Jung Myung Sook, the CEO of MS Mart and the mother of Ahn Dae Seong. Due to her perseverance, the small mart in her neighborhood became a two-story building and a supermarket with everything. The actress appeared in two dramas this year. She was part of "Hello, Me!" and "Somehow Family." "The Murderer's Shopping List" will be her first drama for 2022.
