Lee Kwang Soo will star with Hoang Ha in the new Dreams of You film.

On August 8, it was officially confirmed that Lee Kwang Soo would lead the upcoming Korean and Vietnamese romantic comedy movie Dreams of You. The upcoming movie will be filmed in South Korea and Vietnam and it will be released globally in the first half of 2025. 

Dreams of You is a romantic comedy between a famous actor who became penniless in Vietnam and an ordinary woman who works as a barista. The two will meet and fall in love in Vietnam.

Director Kim Sung Hoon who is known for his works Ransomed, Kingdom, and Tunnel will helm the upcoming film. It will be produced by Jerry Good Company. 

 Lee Kwang Soo will portray the role of Kang Jun Woo. He visited Vietnam for an advertisement shoot. One incident led him to be penniless while in Vietnam. He doesn't have an idea of a normal life. This incident made him accidentally meet Tao. 

Hoang Ha will portray the role of Tao. She is an aspiring barista. After meeting Kang Jun Woo, she will experience a different world far from what she has lived so far. 

Aside from Lee Kwang Soo and Hoang Ha, actor Eum Moon Suk will also join the upcoming movie. 

Lee Kwang Soo and the director shared their thoughts on being part of the upcoming film. 

The actor shared, "I will do my best to show another charm as an actor through this work. You can expect a lovely romantic comedy that anyone can sympathize with." 

Director Kim Sung Hoon also shared, "I am glad and excited to be working with the great actor and person Lee Kwang Soo. It will be my first time to work with outstanding Korean and Vietnamese actors and staff and I have high expectations for it. Please give us a lot of support."

Dreams of You has already begun filming this month. The production will be shot both in South Korea and Vietnam. The movie will be released in 2025.
