No Gain, No Love tells the story of Son Ha Young (Shin Min Ah), who marries Kim Ji Wook (Kim Young Dae) to avoid missing out on an opportunity for a job promotion at her workplace.
Lee Sang Yi takes on the role of Bok Gyu Hyun, a third-generation chaebol CEO who doesn't believe in fate-like love stories and marriage. Gyu Hyun is the president of "Honeybee Education" where Hae Yeong (Shin Min Ah) works. He is a decent young man leading a virtuous life, unlike his womanizing father. He, by chance, comes across Nam Ja Yeon's (Han Ji Hyun) web novel and becomes an avid commenter under a hidden identity.
