Lee Seo Jin, Yoon Chan Young, and Golden Child's Bong Jae Hyun are confirmed to lead the upcoming K-drama I, a Gangster, Became a High Schooler

On April 6, it was officially confirmed that Lee Seo Jin, Yoon Chan Young, and Bong Jae Hyun will be the main leads of the web novel-based K-drama I, a Gangster, Became a High Schooler. The upcoming series will start its filming in the first half of 2023.

I, a Gangster, Became a High Schooler will tell the story of a gangster who lost his life in a car accident while saving a high school student who was trying to end his life. Later on, he will find himself possessing the body of a high school student. The story will base its story on the web novel of the same name by Ho Rol.

There are no official details yet on the broadcast channel and date of the upcoming K-drama. 

Lee Seo Jin will play the role of Kim Deuk Pal, a 47-year-old gangster who will transform into a high school student. He looks arrogant but in reality, he is honest and persistent. He wants to return to school and enter college. 

Yoon Chan Young will portray the role of Song Yi Heon, a 19-year-old high school student who is timid and quiet. He will possess the body of the 47-year-old gangster.

Bong Jae Hyun will take on the role of Choi Se Kyung, a high school student with good looks and excellent grades. He is a model student with good looks, personality, physical strength, and even intelligence. In reality, he has a hidden personality that is sensitive and feisty. 

I, a Gangster, Became a High Schooler will showcase the real meaning of being a good adult and it will reveal laughter and touching moments in the story.
