Lee Soo Hyuk confirmed to join the upcoming fantasy action drama "Tomorrow"

On November 8th, Lee Soo Hyuk's agency YG Entertainment confirmed that the actor will be added to the cast of MBC's "Tomorrow." 

"Tomorrow" will be directed by  Kim Tae Yoon and Sung Chi Wook. The script will be penned by Park Ran and Kim Yu Jin. Produced by Studio N and Super Moon Pictures. The upcoming drama will air in the first half of 2022 with 16 episodes.

The upcoming fantasy drama is based on the Naver webtoon of the same name. It will tell the story of the grim reapers who lead the dead to save those who want to die. The drama will focus on Choi Joon Woong, a person who took his life after being jobless for three consecutive years, and the head of the grim reaper, Goo Ryun. 

Lee Soo Hyuk will be joining the confirmed main leads, top actress Kim Hee Sun and SF9's Rowoon

Kim Hee Sun will play the role of Goo Ryun, the head of the crisis management team, the most prominent company of grim reapers in the underworld. Rowoon will play the role of Choi Joon Woong, a job-seeker who kept on failing to get employed. Lee Soo Hyuk will play the role of Park Joong Gil. He is a cold and charming grim reaper and also the leader of the humanitarian management team at the Spirit Management Headquarters.

"Tomorrow" will exclusively air on MBC and it will premiere in the first quarter of 2022.

"Tomorrow" is the first confirmed drama project of Lee Soo Hyuk for 2022. In 2021, he starred in two dramas and one movie. He was part of the KBS drama "Hello, Me!" with Kim Young Kwang and Choi Kang Hee. He also made many swoons over him in the tvN drama "Doom at Your Service" wherein he was paired with Shin Do Hyun.

After eight years, Lee Soo Hyuk finally starred in a movie. He was one of the main leads of the 2021 movie "Pipeline" with Seo In Guk, Eum Moon Suk, Yoo Seung Mok, Tae Hang Ho, and Bae Da Bin.

Lee Soo Hyuk was also known for participating in the dramas "Born Again," "Sweet Stranger and Me," "Lucky Romance," "The Scholar Who Walks the Night," "High School King of Savvy," "Vampire Idol," and more.
