The much anticipated Netflix original drama "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area" will officially premiere in June.

On April 29th, Netflix officially released the first trailer of the upcoming Korean remake "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area" of the Spanish crime series "La Casa de Papel."

It was revealed that the Netflix series will premiere on June 24. The drama will have a total of six episodes. 

"Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area" will revolve around the biggest heist in history led by the mastermind known as "The Professor." For the Korean remake, the mask of the Korean Peninsula robbers will be the Hahoe mask. This kind of mask is a traditional mask that represents the beauty of Korea. 

The upcoming series will be the masterpiece of director Kim Hong Seon ("L.U.C.A.: The Beginning," "Black," and "Warrior Baek Dong Soo").  The script will be written by Ryu Yong Jae, Kim Hwan Chae, and Choi Sung Joon

"Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area" will be led by Yoo Ji Tae, Kim Yoon Jin, Park Hae Soo, Jeon Jong Seo, Lee Won Jong, Kim Ji Hoon, Jang Yoon Ju, Lee Hyun Woo, Lee Gyu Ho, Im Ji Yeon, Kim Sung Oh, and more.

In the trailer, the clip showcased the debut of robbers who will lead the biggest heist in history. The robbers are clothed with red jumpsuits and legendary Hahoe masks. 

In the clip, Professor played by actor Yoo Ji Tae narrated, "A robber who steals a small amount of money can either get killed or locked up in jail. But a robber who steals a huge amount of money can even change the world or be a hero."

The professor also revealed his grand plan and shared, "The public will be able to see the greatest show on earth live. And they will root for us."
