Kim Nam Hee's Life Isn't All Sunshine and Rainbows in "Bittersweet Hell"
The international OTT platform Netflix has released another trailer for the upcoming sci-fi movie "Jung_E", which is set to release on January 20, 2023. The recent trailer gives more insight into the characters and the story.
The trailer portrays Jung Yi (Kim Hyun Joo) as an elite soldier with a sick daughter. The trailer shows Jung Yi telling her daughter - who is lying on a hospital bed - that she has to go on another mission. Her daughter gives her mother a keychain saying that it will protect her.
Unfortunately, luck wasn't on her side. Jung Yi dies as a brave warrior leaving her sick daughter behind. But some people can't accept her death.
Seo Hyun (Kang Soo Yeon) - the leader of the research laboratory responsible for brain cloning - decides to immortalize Jung Yi by cloning her brain and manufacturing robots who share the same tactical and combat skills, along with unwavering loyalty and determination, as her. And that program will be named Jung_E.
The trailer oozes high-scale CGI with intense action scenes. Kim Hyun Joo plays a tough protagonist who will be put through difficult trials, while the late actress Kang Soo Yeon will be seen in the compassionate character of Seo Hyun, who is on good terms with Jung Yi and wants the best for her. Sang Hoon is portrayed playing the merciless Ryu Kyung Soo who will do anything to satisfy his superiors.
