Kwak Shi Yang to appear in the upcoming episode of "Good Partner"
Oh Jung Se, Lee Sang Yi, Heo Sung Tae, and Tae Won Seok will join the cast of Good Boy.
On July 31, it was officially confirmed that Oh Jung Se, Lee Sang Yi, Heo Sung Tae, and Tae Won Seok will work alongside main leads Park Bo Gum and Kim So Hyun in the upcoming action mystery K-drama Good Boy.
Good Boy will showcase the journey of former gold medalists facing different life challenges and becoming special police officers. These people will be the "Olympic Avengers" members who will fight against violent crimes using their unique skills.
The K-drama will be the joint work of director Shim Na Yeon (The Good Bad Mother and Beyond Evil) and writer Lee Dae II (Chief of Staff and Bring It On, Ghost).
The production company of the K-drama shared, "Before the year ends, a hot and refreshing drama will come and cool off the stuffy and cold reality. Park Bo Gum, Kim SO Hyun, Oh Jung Se, Lee Sang Yi, Heo Sung Tae, and Tae Won Seok will showcase their best performance and synergy for Good Boy. Please look forward to the K-drama."
Good Boy will exclusively premiere on JTBC and it will air in the second half of 2024.
Oh Jung Se will portray the role of Min Ju Young, a seventh-grade customs official at the Korea Customs Service. He wears a mask as a sincere public official but in reality, he is the worst villain at night.
Lee Sang Yi will give life to the character named Kim Jong Hyun. He is part of the special team sergeant and was a former silver medalist in fencing. He became a police officer after suffering from an injury.
Heo Sung Tae on the other hand will portray the role of Ko Man Sik. He was a former wrestling bronze medalist and is now the police team leader.
Lastly, Tae Won Seok will play the role of Shin Jae Hong. He is a former discus-throwing bronze medalist and now works as a police detective.
