Ok Taec Yeon Vows to Protect Won Ji An in the Latest Teaser of "Heartbeat"

KBS released the fourth teaser for Heartbeat. 

The teaser commences with Joo In Hae (Won Ji An) going into the basement of a building she inherited from her father. There, she stumbles upon a mysterious coffin, and after opening it, she freaks out upon discovering Seon Woo Hyeol (Ok Taec Yeon) sleeping in it.

Enraged by Joo In Hae for opening his coffin and spilling water on his efforts to become human, Seon Woo Hyeol reveals his fangs and tries to bite In Hae out of rage, but Joo In Hae, to protect herself, bites him first. 

What follows is Joo In Hae learning that Seon Woo Hyeol is a vampire who has been asleep in the coffin for 100 years to become a complete human, but his efforts have now gone to waste as she woke him just a day before he completed his 100 years of sleep. Believing all this just to be a cock-and-bull story, Joo In Hae yells at Seon Woo Hyul to go away. 

Woo Hyeol then reunites with his fellow vampires Lee Sang Hae (Yoon Byung Hee) and Park Dong Seop (Go Gyu Pil), who enlighten him about the drastic changes that took place in the world while he was asleep. They reveal that vampires can no longer bite humans for their blood, jolting Seon Woo Hyeol into the harsh reality. 

In the following scene, Seon Woo Hyeol is seen dressed as a janitor walking in the corridor of the school where Joo In Hae works as a nurse.

Then, Ko Yang Nam (Kim In Kwon) tells Seon Woo Hyeol, "If anything were to happen to that woman, everything we have will crumble. You have to keep her by your side and protect her". 

Taking Yang Nam's words seriously, Seon Woo Hyeol rescues Joo In Hae from peril with his vampire superpowers. After witnessing the shocking events, In Hae asks, "A real vampire?" to which Woo Hyul responds, "Do you believe me now?". 

Towards the end, the teaser also gives glimpses of the real estate development expert Shin Do Shik (Park Kang Hyun), who fell in love with Joo In Hae when they were in college, and the real estate investor Na Hae Won (Yoon So Hee), who has a striking resemblance to Seon Woo Hyeol's first love Hae Sun from Joseon era. 

This intricate web of relationships among the four characters intensifies the anticipation, inviting viewers to see how their story unfolds.
