Lee Joo Bin confirms her next work after "Queen of Tears"
Park Ji Hoon will possibly be the main lead of a new KBS K-drama.
On March 3, an industry insider revealed that Park Ji Hoon will be the main lead of the webtoon-based K-drama Fantasy Sonata.
Fantasy Sonata will base its story on the webtoon of the same name by Ban Bi Woon. It will tell the fantasy historical romance of a man with two opposite personalities and a woman who falls in love with him.
There is no response yet from Park Ji Hoon's side regarding the casting reports.
The upcoming K-drama will be directed by Lee Jung Sub (Angel's Last Mission: Love, Healer, and Bread, Love and Dreams) and will be written by Yoon Kyung Ah (Moment at Eighteen, All About My Mom, and Brain).
Park Ji Hoon will portray two characters with two different personalities named Sa Jo Hyun and Ak Hee. He will showcase the emotions of a man who will fall in love with a woman and will know the reason to live.
According to reports, Fantasy Sonata is already discussing the schedule to begin filming.
If Park Ji Hoon confirms his casting, this will be his third upcoming K-drama for the year. The idol actor is set to return to the second season of Weak Hero Class 2. He will also lead the upcoming series Bastard which will also base its story on a webtoon.
Last year, Park Ji Hoon gained more recognition after his excellent portrayal in Weak Hero Class 1. Because of this K-drama, Park Ji Hoon has been receiving several acting offers.
Park Ji Hoon is also active as a singer. Last September 2022, the idol actor also released his sixth mini album, THE ANSWER.
