Sung Joon in discussion to be the villain in "The Fiery Priest Season 2"
Park Min Young will reportedly lead a new tvN drama titled "MonWedFriTuesThursSat (literal title)."
Several media outlets reported on February 17th that Park Min Young has been picked as the main lead for the upcoming drama "MonWedFriTuesThursSat."
Park Min Young's agency Hook Entertainment confirmed the reports and stated that the actress did receive the casting offer. They also shared that Park Min Young is positively reviewing the drama.
The upcoming tvN drama will be directed by Nam Sung Woo who also helmed the romance comedy drama "My Roommate Is a Gumiho," "Kkondae Intern," "100 Days My Prince," "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo," and more.
"MonWedFriTuesThursSat" will tell the story of Choi Sang Eun, the "single life helper." Her job is to pretend to be a wife to single people who need a companion at couple's gatherings, school reunions, and such.
Park Min Young got the offer to play the role of Choi Sang Eun. She's a woman with great qualities and virtues a bride should possess. She uses those qualities to help single men who are not interested in marriage. Just by having Choi Sang Eun as their "wife," the single men get re-evaluated by those around them. Choi Sang Eun is skilled in different foreign languages, rock climbing, golf, fencing, and she even has Michelin-level cooking skills.
Choi Sang Eun works from Monday to Saturday to help single men get recognized by their families and society. But she keeps her Sundays for herself only.
There are no details yet on when the upcoming tvN drama airs.
Park Min Young is currently starring in the JTBC "Forecasting Love and Weather" with Song Kang, Yoon Park, Girls Day Yura, and more. The actress will also participate in the MBC special "Docuplex: High Kick."
