Jung Ji Hoon, aka Rain, has been offered to play the villain in the upcoming Netflix original action thriller Bloodhounds Season 2.
On June 4, Netflix told Xports News, "Rain is positively discussing Bloodhounds Season 2, but no decision has been made yet."
Adapted from the webtoon of the same name by Jeong Chan, Bloodhounds unfolds amidst the backdrop of Covid-19 pandemic, presenting a story of two boxers, Kim Geon Woo (Woo Do Hwan) and Hong Woo Jin (Lee Sang Yi), teaming up against a notorious loan shark who preys on the financially desperate.
Bloodhounds ranked first in Netflix's global Top 10 (non-English) category soon after its release in June last year and was listed in the TOP 10 lists in numerous countries.
Following the success of Season 1, Netflix confirmed that Bloodhounds has been renewed for Season 2. It was also revealed that Season 1's lead actors Woo Do Hwan and Lee Sang Yi will return for the new season.
