"Reply 1988" actor Choi Moo Sung joins the Korean remake of "Your Honor"

Reply 1988 actor Choi Moo Sung will be added to the cast of the upcoming ENA K-drama Your Honor.

On August 6, it was officially confirmed that Choi Moo Sung will join hands with confirmed main leads Son Hyun Joo, Kim Myung Min, and Kim Do Hoon in the upcoming K-drama Your Honor. 

This will be the actor's first official K-drama project for 2024. He will also join the soon-to-air K-drama Family by Choice which will premiere next month. He will work alongside Hwang In Youp, Jung Chae Yeon, Bae Hyeon Seong, Seo Ji Hye, and Choi Won Young. 

Early this year, Choi Moo Sung appeared in the star-studded film Wonderland.

Choi Moo Sung is known for portraying both villain and supporting roles in different genres of K-dramas. He was part of the popular K-dramas My Dearest, The Good Bad Mother, Stranger Season 2, Mr. Sunshine, Prison Playbook, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, Reply 1988, and more.

Your Honor will be the Korean remake of the Israeli TV series Kvodo and the American remake Your Honor. It will showcase the story of two fathers who decide to be evil for the sake of their children. The story will revolve around a criminal organization and a judge who helps the citizens seek justice.

Director Pyo Min Soo who is known for creating the K-dramas The Producers, Heartstrings, The World That They Live In, and Full House will work with writer Kim Jae Hwan (Boyhood) in the new K-drama.

Choi Moo Sung will portray the role of Jeong Yi Hwa, a lawmaker. He will work closely with Son Hyun Joo's character Song Pan Ho as they are both in the same situation, facing a lifetime crisis.

Your Honor will exclusively air on ENA, Genie TV, and Genie TV Mobile broadcast channels. The first episode will premiere on August 12 at 10 PM KST.
