Twinkling Watermelon tells the story of a young boy who is a CODA (child of deaf adults), and has a natural talent for music. One day, after visiting a peculiar musical instrument shop, he unexpectedly finds himself in a strange place, where he forms a band called "Watermelon Sugar" with youths he meets there.
