Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Cha Seo Won and Uhm Hyun Kyung are getting married and will be having a child!
On June 5, media outlet Hankook Ilbo shared an exclusive report stating that the Second Husband co-stars Cha Seo Won and Uhm Hyun Kyung is planning to get married and are also expecting a baby! They also revealed that the two began their romantic relationship after their weekday K-drama concluded.
Cha Seo Won and Uhm Hyun Kyung have worked together for two K-dramas. The two first met in the 2019 K-drama Miss Lee. Two years later, Cha Seo Won and Uhm Hyun Kyung once again worked together for the MBC weekday K-drama Second Husband with Oh Seung Ah, Han Ki Woong, Jung Sung Mo, and Ji Soo Won. Second Husband aired from August 2021 until April 2022 with a total of 150 episodes.
Cha Seo Won made his acting debut in 2013 through the hit K-drama The Heirs. He is known for being part of the K-dramas Miss Mamma Mia, 20th Century Boy and Girl, Rich Family's Son, Unintentional Love Story, and more. The actor is currently serving in the military. He enlisted in November 2022.
Uhm Hyun Kyung on the other hand made her acting debut in 2006. She has starred in several K-dramas such as The Innocent Woman, Good Doctor, Let's Eat, Defendant, Single Wife, A Man in a Veil, and more. The actress is also set to star in a new upcoming MBC weekday K-drama Unconditional, Desire.
Cha Seo Won and Uhm Hyun Kyung's agency both responded and confirmed the exclusive report.
According to Cha Seo Won's agency Namoo Actors, "Cha Seo Won and Uhm Hyun Kyung met each other through their drama and developed a romantic relationship after the series concluded. The two are dating with marriage in mind and they have decided to tie the knot after Cha Seo Won will be discharged from the military."
Namoo Actors also confirmed that a new life came to Cha Seo Won and Uhm Hyun Kyung, confirming the pregnancy reports.
Meanwhile, Uhm Hyun Kyung’s agency Yeojin Entertainment also shared their side regarding the reports. The agency also confirmed that the two are dating and are planning to get married soon. The agency also confirmed that Uhm Hyun Kyung is pregnant. They reiterated that there is no confirmed wedding date yet.
