The production team Twinkling Watermelon unveiled stills of Seol In Ah's playing Se Kyeong. Twinkling Watermelon tells the story of a CODA (child of deaf adults) boy, Eun Gyeol (Ryeoun), with a talent for music. One day, he mysteriously finds himself in the year 1995, where he meets his father (a high school student) and forms a band with him and the young people he meets there.
In the drama, Seol In Ah plays Se Kyeong, Lee Chan's crush in 1995. She is poised to evoke nostalgia of the 90s "girl crush", with her striking beauty and elegant demeanor. Se Kyeong is a muse to many and a cello artist. She has high standards for men and is so focused on her practice, lessons, and competitions that she remains indifferent to the advances of boys, including Lee Chan.
While some are frustrated by Se Kyeong's thorny demeanor, others are drawn to her, like Lee Chan. Students orbit around her, desperate for even a fleeting glance from her seemingly indifferent eyes.
Se Kyeong gets entangled in a love triangle, as previewed in the second teaser, which showed Eun Gyeol finding himself in 1995 and realizing the first love of the young Lee Chan is not his mother but Se Kyeong. Anticipation mounts regarding how Se Kyeong's presence will ripple through the threads of fate and impact the past connections.
