Yoo Jae Myung to meet Kim Soo Hyun in a new Disney+ K-drama
SF9's Dawon will be making his official debut on the small screen with Seo In Guk and Park Bo Young's upcoming drama "Doom at Your Service"!
Dawon will play as Park Bo Young's younger brother named Tak Sun Kyung in the upcoming drama. He's an immature and careless person. Although there are many times when he's a pain to his older sister, Tak Sun Kyung is actually very thankful to her.
"Doom at Your Service" is a fantasy romance drama about a man who's is known as "Doom", as everything and everyone that gets involved with him vanishes. He forms a relationship with a woman who's trying to avoid her life's fate and has a fierce desire to live.
The drama is written by Im Me Ah Ri ("The Beauty Inside") and it will be directed by "My Unfamiliar Family" director, Kwon Young Il.
Dawon's agency FNC Entertainment shared that the SF9 member is very grateful to have the opportunity to be part of the drama. Dawon also shared through the statement that although he's nervous and worried for his first official drama, this will be his driving force to work harder in preparing for the role. He also promised to show a good side of himself as he take on this new challenge in his career.
Lee Sang Hyuk, better known as Dawon, debuted in 2016 with the K-pop group SF9. He's the lead vocalist of the group. His acting debut was in the 2016 web drama "Click Your Heart", together with other SF9 members Ro Woon, Chani, Zu Ho, and Hwi Young and AOA Mina. In 2020, Dawon and other SF9 members also made a special appearance in Song Ji Hyo and Son Ho Jun's drama "Was It Love?".
"Doom at Your Service" will have 16 episodes and the first episode is slated to premier on May 3rd.
