On May 15, tvN released still cuts featuring Shin Hye Sun in the new Saturday-Sunday drama See You in My 19th Life (written by Choi Young Rim, and directed by Lee Na Jung).
See You in My 19th Life tells the story of Ban Ji Eum (Shin Hye Sun), a woman who remembers her past lives, and her endeavour to reunite with her love (Ahn Bo Hyun) from her 18th life.
Based on the Naver webtoon of the same name, the drama is directed by Lee Na Jung, whose notable works include Love Alarm, and Fight for My Way. The web manhwa has recorded about 700 million global views, becoming one of the most talked-about Naver webtoons of all time.
See You in My 19th Life also casts actress Ha Yoon Kyung in the role of Yoon Cho Won - Ban Ji Eum's sister from her 18th life - and Ahn Dong Goo as Ha Do Yoon - Seo Ha's loyal secretary and long-time friend.
In the stills, the stunning actress captivates viewers with her lovely and innocent charm. Her gaze, filled with deep thought, and her tender eyes as she looks up at the sky, pique curiosity about the character the actress plays, who remembers all her past lives spanning a thousand years.
The production team stated, "We believed that no one could portray the character of Ban Ji Eum better than Shin Hye Sun," adding, "Through her extensive acting experience, the actress has created a complex and captivating character by adapting the honest and confident Ban Ji Eun and the experienced and broad-minded Ban Ji Eun in her 19th life".
See You in My 19th Life will premiere on June 17. It will be available to stream on Netflix.
