Oh Ye Ju confirmed to join Ji Chang Wook and Jo Woo Jin's upcoming K-drama "Gangnam B-Side"
Shin Seul Ki is confirmed to join the upcoming SBS K-drama Return to the Palace.
On August 28, Shin Seul Ki's agency Big Smile Entertainment announced that the actress is joining the cast of the upcoming historical romance K-drama Return to the Palace.
Shin Seul Ki will work alongside the main cast BTOB's Yook Sung Jae, WJSN's Bona, and Kim Ji Hoon. With this, Shin Seul Ki and Bona will be in a K-drama project once again. The two previously worked together in the hit TVING series Pyramid Game.
This upcoming K-drama will also be the first project of Kim Seul Gi in a national television network.
She made her official acting debut this year through Pyramid Game. She impressed viewers with her portrayal of the role of Seo Do A, one of the participants of the Pyramid Game. She also showcased great chemistry not only with Bona but with other casts such as Jang Da A, Ryu Da In, Kang Na Eon, Jung Ha Dam, Ha Yul Ri, and more.
Shin Seul Ki was known after participating in the Netflix variety program Single’s Inferno Season 2. Since then, she has been active in the industry and currently pursuing acting.
Return to the Palace will be the next work of director Yoon Sung Shik (Mr. Queen) and writer Yoon Soo Jung (Sassy Go Go).
The upcoming K-drama will showcase the romance between Yoon Gab, who gets possessed by an Imoogi creature, and Yeo Ri, the granddaughter of a famous shaman, who refuses her fate. After Yoon Gab becomes possessed, Yeo Ri decides to enter the palace where Yoon Gab works, and there she will encounter a lot of powerful female ghosts and evil spirits.
In the K-drama, Shin Seul Ki will portray the role of Choi In Seon. She is the only daughter of Choi Won Woo, a well-known person in the Joseon Dynasty. Choi In Seon is known for being a person with a clear and honest nature. She has a misunderstanding with Yook Sung Jae's character Yoon Gab as she thought, he was the King's inspector.
Return to the Palace will air on SBS in the first half of 2025.
