Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
SISTAR's Yoon Bora is also returning to "Dr. Romantic 3."
Yoon Bora will portray the role of nurse Joo Hyung Mi once again in the upcoming third season of "Dr.Romantic."
It was officially confirmed on November 10th that Yoon Bora will join the new season just like Han Seok Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung, Kim Joo Heon, Shin Dong Wook, Byun Woo Min, Im Won Hee, Jung Ji Ahn, So Ju Yeon, Kim Min Jae, and more.
In the series, Yoon Bora gave life to the character named Joo Young Mi. She is a workaholic nurse who is a quick and fast worker. She has high pride as a nurse. Her signature look is the nurse with the horn-rimmed glasses.
Yoon Bora shared her thoughts on returning to the new season. According to her, "I am thankful to be part of the drama 'Dr. Romantic 2' was so precious to me. I am glad and can't wait to meet the people in the emergency room of Doldam Hospital." She also shared how she will do her best in this drama and asked for support for her and the upcoming series.
This will be the comeback drama of Yoon Bora after two years. She last appeared in the k-drama "The One and Only." After SISTAR disbanded, Yoon Bora focused on her acting career. She has starred in several k-dramas such as "Worth Love, Bo Ram," "Dr. Romantic 2," "God's Quiz: Reboot," "A Korean Odyssey," "Irish Uppercut," "Doctor Stranger," and more.
"Dr. Romantic 3" is set to premiere in the first half of 2023. The series will tell more stories about the doctors, staff, and people who enter the humble hospital in the countryside named Doldam Hospital.
The upcoming third season will be helmed by director Yoo In Shik and writer Kang Eun Kyung. The series will be produced by Samhwa Networks.
Yoon Bora joined the medical series in the second season "Dr. Romantic 2" in 2020.
