Son Woo Hyun will possibly join the upcoming k-drama "Happiness Battle."
Media outlet Sports World reported on November 29th that Son Woo Hyun will be added to the cast of the upcoming ENA K-drama "Happiness Battle."
If Son Woo Hyun confirms his casting, this will be his first drama project for 2023. In 2022, Son Woo Hyun starred in two k-dramas such as "To My Star 2: Our Untold Stories" and "The Golden Spoon." He will also appear in the upcoming films "Jjamppong Bigwon," "Beautiful Moment," and "Control."
He was recently seen in the Youtube show "The Game Caterers Season 2" with other Starship Entertainment actors and idol groups.
Son Woo Hyun made his acting debut in 2016. Before he became an actor, he first debuted as a singer in 2011.
He has appeared in several K-dramas such as "Love Intern Choi Woo Sung," "About Youth," "The Nokdu Flower," "Cat's Bar," "Touch," "Tale of the Nine-Tailed," "To My Star," and more.
"Happiness Battle" is a suspense thriller K-drama that deals with the murders among upper-class mothers. The story will be depicted from the novel of the same name by Joo Young Ha which tells the stories of mothers who have a fierce social media battle to destroy others' happiness for their happiness.
The upcoming series will be led by Lee El, Jin Seo Yun, Cha Ye Ryun, and Park Hyo Joo.
Son Woo Hyun will reportedly play the role of Jin Seop, a marketing team member who will work closely with Lee El's character named Mi Ho.
"Happiness Battle" will be the collaboration work of director Kim Yoon Cheol and writer Joo Young Ha who is the original author of the novel.
The upcoming K-drama will premiere in the first half of 2023.
