The former rapper Jung Hun Cheol, known by his stage name Iron, has passed away reportedly from suicide.

Initial reports stated that the rapper was found bleeding in his apartment by a security guard. He was rushed to the hospital but  doctors were not able to resuscitate him.

Iron was a rapper signed by  Polaris Entertainment and Blockberry Creative.  He became known for his appearance on Show Me The Money: Season 3 in 2014 as a contestant. In 2016, he released his album Rock Bottom.  After a flurry of multiple scandals, his career came to an end.

While in 2018, he was arrested for physically assaulting his then girlfriend, leaving her with multiple fractures.  In 2020, he was placed under arrest for another physical assault against his roommate who was found to be a minor. 

Despite the artist's perilous journey and misconducts, our condolences go out to his family and friends. 

Earlier on Monday, it was also revealed that the South Korean actress Soo Yoo Jung had been found dead over the weekend.
