Jeon Jong Seo receives offer to star in the upcoming K-drama "Genie House"
Super Junior's Lee Dong Hae and actress Lee Seol will possibly be the main lead of the upcoming K-drama A Man and A Woman.
Media outlets reported on June 16 that Lee Dong Hae and Lee Seol have been picked to lead a webtoon-based K-drama titled A Man and A Woman.
Lee Dong Hae's agency SM Entertainment shared their statement regarding the casting reports. According to them, Lee Dong Hae did receive the offer and he is still reviewing it.
Lee Seol's agency also responded to the reports. Just Entertainment shared, "Lee Seol is positively reviewing the offer to star in A Man and A Woman."
A Man and A Woman will tell the romance story of a seven-year couple who decided to separate after only one mistake.
Lee Dong Hae got the offer to play the role of Jung Hyun Sung, a fashion designer who is losing his dream and also his love life.
Lee Seol got the offer to portray the character named Han Sung Ok, a Jewelry designer.
A Man and A Woman is aiming to premiere in the second half of 2023.
This will possibly be the second K-drama of Lee Dong Hae for 2023. He recently starred in the ENA channel K-drama Oh! Youngsim with Song Ha Yoon, Lee Min Jae, Jung Woo Yeon, Song Young Jae, and Wang Ji Hye. Although Lee Dong Hae is pursuing his acting career, he is still actively participating in all Super Junior activities.
Meanwhile, this will also be the second upcoming K-drama of Lee Seol. The actress is set to return to Netflix's original K-drama D.P. Season 2. Lee Seol will also join the upcoming movies On the Sand House and A Tour Guide
